Lipsense Application be sure to:

Shake your tube.   Before your first lipsense application be sure to shake the tube vigorously for 60 seconds.  After that 30 seconds is fine for daily use.

Always apply your LipSense lip color to clean and dry lips because the lip color adheres to the lip.

LipSense Application:  Lip Color

LipSense is applied  by using a layering technique.

Three layers of lip color is recommended for the greatest staying power.

 

• Keep lips apart, and follow the natural shape of lips starting at the outer corner  of the mouth.
• Apply the color, moving the applicator in one continuous direction versus going back and forth.
• Let each of the three layers set for a few seconds before proceeding to the next layer.

TIPS:

• Between each layer of lip colour, do not press your  lips together.
• Create your own custom shades by layering a combination of different colors.   For example you can use one lip colour for your first layer and another lip colour for the second and third layers.
• Apply lip color in the opposite direction each layer.
• Be sure to apply color on the inside of the lip.  This is where the color will fade first from friction
• More than three layers is not recommended.

If you happen to mess up at any point then use the ‘Oops Remover’.

For a quick fix to erase mistakes use the Ooops™ Remover and wipe off the excess with a qtip.

Lipsense Application: Moisturing Gloss

 

LipSense Moisturizing Gloss is applied over the last layer of lip color.

The gloss is used to penetrate and prolong the staying power of the lip colour and keep your lips moist and plump

 

Your lips may feel tacky until you apply Lipsense Gloss.   Do not press your lips together until the moisturizing gloss has been applied.

TIPS:

• Apply the gloss often throughout the day and after eating.
• If you have dry lips you may experience a tingling sensation which is completely normal.  Your lips will become more hydrated the more you use your LipSense®.
• If you want to eliminate the tingling sensation.  Apply your Shea Butter Gloss several times 24 hours prior to your first LipSense® application.
