I thought I would take a few minutes and introduce myself.  I am a 4x Certified Lash Artist in Regina, Saskatchewan Canada.  I own and operate a successful esthetics studio in Regina.  I can’t believe I’ve been in the beauty industry for more than 25 years.  Yikes!

I was a single Mommy and raised 2 amazing daughters who are the light of my life.  2 years ago I became an empty nester.  You would think I would have spare time on my hands but somehow the hours in a day are not enough.

 

I started to hear rumblings about a product called LipSense this year.  I am always asked to review products, it is so weird but no one approached me about this product!!

I was hearing through Social Media that Lipsense was a unique liquid lip color that was waterproof and didn’t smear off, rub off, nor kiss off….and would last anywhere from 8 to 18 hours!  I was hearing that Lipsense would not dry out your lips….  in fact when used properly,  the product would restore the moisture content of your lips…. hhhmm  wasn’t sure I believed those claims.  I was skeptical. 

I started to research this Company and noticed that they were attracting high level professionals like:  spa owners, salons, lash artists, plastic surgeons, makeup artists, and dermatologists….now, I was curious!   What was this all about?  Anyone who tried the product was loving it.

My love story with Lipsense began on a trip to Mexico in 2017.   Immediately I found this product superior to any other lip product I have tried.   The first colour I tried, was Crimson Red from the Diamond Collection.

I applied Crimson Red at 4am just as we left for the airport.  Now remember I wasn’t convinced this lip colour would actually stay on.  I took my tube with me and thought I would reapply it on the plane. 
 
Well, I am here to tell you that the colour was perfect (without any touchups) at 6pm and at 8am the next morning.  
 
 
I looked a bit strange the next morning when I woke up with bed head, in my pajamas and perfectly applied red lips.  It was then that I realised LipSense was the ultimate solution for low maintenance, time poor women like myself!   lol
 

Here is an awesome review from Michael Finch?  Michael is an incredible makeup artist!  You seriously have to watch this video…..he is reviewing Lipsense and he is hilarious!   But before you do….. please be aware that there is explicit language in his video….but I had to share….I totally love him!!

 

What I still don’t understand is…. why was I just hearing about LipSense in 2017.  LipSense was created in 1999!!!   Well,  I’ve found it now and over the moon excited about it.

I have just 2 dislikes about Lipsense. 

  1. The packaging seems outdated to me.  But, Lipsense’s performance far surpasses the look of the packaging.  My mother always told me “don’t judge a book by it’s cover”.  You right again, Mom xxoo
  2. The SeneGence website is really difficult to move around in, outdated and super slow.  But I hear that the Company is working on updating their website and I can’t wait!
